National Mourning Day

This is a day of great shame and mourning for the Bengali nation. On the black night of 15th August 1975, some miscreants of Bengal brutally killed 20 people including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, his wife, and 3 children and 6 relatives at his house No. 32 in Dhanmondi. This was an obnoxious chapter for the Bengali nation. This day is celebrated every year in a mournful atmosphere. On this day, the national flag is kept at half-mast.

Dhanaidaha Haque Autistic & Buddhi Protibondhi Biddaloy observes the day with a wreath-laying ceremony and discussion program on the portrait of Bangabandhu. The program is concluded with a prayer program for Bangabandhu and his family.
