More than 5,000 injured people became permanently disabled. Their lives became miserable. Out of sympathy and benevolence towards them, several social organizations have come forward in the field of medical treatment and rehabilitation. The very next year, in Zurich, many organizations from around the world jointly convened a huge international conference. From there, the details of all the details about the obstacles match. Several proposals and programs for the welfare of the disabled were unanimously adopted there. International Day of Persons with Disabilities is called to draw attention to the endangered persons injured in the mine accident. Since then, it has become a day to extend a helping hand to people with disabilities all over the world.
