Md. Mamunur Rashid was born on March 5, 1989, in Dhanaidaha village, city union 4, Baraigram Upazila of Natore district. Father Md. Abdul Jalil was a farmer by profession and Mother Mst. Mabia Khatun is a housewife. He is the eldest among two brothers and one sister.
At the primary level, Mamunur studied at Chandpur Government Primary School. He was then educated at the secondary level at Harodanga Union High School. He passed the SSC examination with the second division. Later, he passed in HSC examination from Kalasnagar College in second class. Subsequently, he completed a Bachelor of Arts from Rajapur Degree College in second class. His roll was between 3 and 5 in most classes since childhood.
He completed 3 months basic course in Computer from Development Assistant Program for Special Area under Prime Minister’s office. He has taken 7 days of vocational training from the Youth Training Center and has also achieved an A Plus there.
After graduation, he was working as a Solar Power Field Officer of Marketing Company Ava Development Society, Muradnagar Police Station, Comilla District. There he worked efficiently for 18 months and was appointed as the head of Sadar Upazila of Chandpur district. He worked there for 5 years. Subsequently, since 2018, under the Ministry of Social Welfare (2009 Special Education Policy for the Disabled), he has been successfully performing his duties as a Junior Teacher, Music in the Dhanaidaha Haque Autistic & Buddhi Protibondhi Biddaloy.
The main goal is to work for the development of children with disabilities; take initiative for proper development of music education for children with special needs and implement it properly so that these children can function as other people in the society and become self-reliant.
