Sarmin Sultana

Assistant Teacher

Birth:
Sharmin Sultana was born on 2 January 1991 in Chandpur village of 10th Kadimchilan union in Lalpur Upazila of Natore district. Father Md. Khadem Ali was a farmer and mother Mst. Saleha Begum was a housewife. She is the eldest of three siblings.

 

Education:
She studied at the primary level at Chandpur Government Primary School. She studied at the secondary level and passed the SSC examination with a GPA of 3.92 in the Humanities Department from Bhabanipur Dakhil Madrasa of Kadimchilan Union. Nextly, she completed SSC from Kalikapur Bonpara Agricultural Technical College and passed in Business Management Department, obtaining a GPA of 3.62. After that, she did BA Honors for 4 years from the Department of History and Culture of Islam at Ranibhavani Government Women's College, one of the leading institutions in the country where she passed with second class. Lastly, she achieved second class in the Department of History and Culture of Islam from Government Bangla College and passed the M. A examination.

 

Other courses:
First of all, she pursued one-month fisheries training in 2008 under the Department of Youth Development. Secondly, in 2008, under the Department of Youth Development, she pursued 4 months of training in block making and block-batik training. Her next monthly training was on cattle, poultry, fisheries, and agriculture from the Youth Training Center under the Department of Youth Development in 2008. Later, in 2008, she worked as a data entry operator under the Election Commission. In 2008, the Ansar and the village defense forces received village based VDP basic training. Consecutively, in the same year, she completed a capsule training camp under Mahasthan Regiment under Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC). Last but not the least, in 2009 she completed an annual training camp under Mahasthan Regiment under Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC).

 

Workplace:

She taught at BRAC School in 2004; Rosa School in 2006 and then in Gazipur District’s Government Scholarship approved KG School Association. From 2010 to 2012, she worked as a Quality Inspector at Ishwardi EPZ Nakano Company Limited. In 2017, she worked as a Quality Inspector in Eco·text Company Limited. Since 2018, under the Ministry of Social Welfare (2009 Special Education Policy for the Disabled), Sharmin Sultana has been successfully performing his duties as an Assistant Teacher in the Dhanaidaha Haque Autistic & Buddhi Protibondhi Biddaloy.

 

Future plans:

The main goal is to work for the development of children with disabilities and take initiative and implement it properly so that the children with special needs get vocational education along with academic education so that these children can function as normal people in society and become independent. Above all, through proper planning, establish Dhanaidaha Haque Autistic & Buddhi Protibondhi Biddaloy as the best and exemplary institution in the world, so that other schools can follow or imitate the institution.
